Helen Brown - founding Author
I was born in Mount Isa, the eldest of five children of Salvation Army Officers and lived an almost nomadic life until I was fifteen years of age.
I discovered books as a preteen and read a lot, well into the night and occasionally all night. Two stories that captured my imagination were: “Anne of Green Gables” and “Little Women”. Just like the heroines in these stories, I wanted to write. A learning disability, which was not corrected until I was in my thirties, meant that schooling was a real struggle. It also meant that my dream seemed to be a distant mirage.
I started writing poetry in my late 30's and had some of my poems published by the local newspaper. It was not until my late 50's that my dream of writing a book was finally realised. I now have several books published, which proves that God often takes us to places way beyond our dreams.
The struggle of raising five children and being a wife to a shearer/farmer in a small town taught me a lot about life and the grace of God. During this time, I also completed my teaching degree and worked many casual jobs, in order to ensure that the farm was viable. Today, I still live on the farm in the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales.

Olwyn Harris
Born in the wrong century, Olwyn Harris has spent a lot of time craving time‑travel in a way that can include life essentials like Belgium milk chocolate, air-conditioning and laptops. With a passion for companioning people in their stories, whether they be real or trumped-up, she takes inexplicable pleasure in finding the common ground in our human and spiritual experiences. She is enamoured with the mystery of how the ordinary transforms to extraordinary when given a generous brush-down with the presence of prayer and considers it her personal life-quest to find the heroine in all of us.
When she is not time-travelling, she lives in the Whitsundays: is a wife, mother, counsellor, pastor, and spiritual director.
Wendy Wood - Founding Author
At 14 years of age, Wendy created her first children's book, a simple lift-the-flap counting book as a school project that her teacher "hated, because her grandchildren made her read it over and over". Wendy has worked and volunteered with children for over 20 years and hopes to pass her love of reading on to future generations. Wendy grew up in country NSW, and although she has lived in the city since her late teens, her country upbringing is evident in her work. Apart from her work with children, writing, and publishing, she enjoys playing music, singing, and being involved in local community theatre.
Graham Redman
Graham was born in 1941, and raised in Adelaide South Australia, nurtured in the Christian faith by his mother. Even so, showed very little interest in following this faith, but still involved out of duty, at the same time enjoying a wild lifestyle. In 1963 the life of his mother was taken by her own hand which
led to a long period of grieving. During this time life dragged him down to the point of surrendering to our Lord Jesus Christ in 1975, experiencing a total lifestyle change.
His work career took him into serving in the Citizen Army for 9 years, and the Police Department for 22 years. This change was not accepted by his peers in the Police service and so resigned in 1985, to take up a private business enterprise. He poured himself into this new Christian lifestyle in the Pentecostal movement, and spent 6 months engrossed in full time Bible College. Pressures of this business and with the result of traumatic experiences in the Police, resulted in an emotional breakdown, which led to criminal charges being laid and a custodial sentence imposed. This Autobiography relates to his life experiences surrounding these events, which he hopes will influence readers towards accepting the need for spiritual development. It also points out that regardless of his personal faith, life’s challengers still can rip apart one’s personal balance, but with the love of God in his life not letting go but always teaching and lifting him up. He has now been a Christian for 45 years, having spent several years in the Mission field part time. As an Author this story has flowed from the heart inspired by the Holy spirit which in fact has been a release of the traumas dealt to him in his life.
